Blitzschutzbau Rhein-Main Adam Herbert GmbH is specialised in the planning, installation and maintenance of lightning protection and earthing systems as well as surge protection devices.

In 1957 Adam Herbert (1919 - 1998) founded the company Blitzschutzbau Rhein Main GmbH. From the small village of Michelstadt in Odenwald the four founders of the company soon expanded to the Rhine-Main area, Northern Hessen, Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia.

At the beginning of the Sixties Adam Herbert relocated head office to Bad Münstereifel. From here he supported part of the clientele in Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia. In the mid Seventies two offices were opened in Aachen and Trier. In 1981 the company was renamed Blitzschutzbau Rhein-Main Adam Herbert GmbH.

The Managing Directors are Herbert Katzfey and Heinz-Josef Krämer. Blitzschutzbau Rhein-Main currently has about 30 employees.
